I guess the people who run Dread Central are producing Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy, so they have been posting constant updates about the documentary. However, their "coverage" reads more like an ad for the film, and they really haven't announced anything new or exciting. I guess there isn't much more to say than it is a "comprehensive look at the Nightmare films," and will be available sometime in 2010.

They did mention that the website Elm Street Legacy should start having more updates this Friday (October 23, 2009).

Shock Till You Drop had the chance to talk with Jackie Earle Haley at the 2009 Scream Awards. When asked about the fans reaction to the A Nightmare on Elm Street trailer Haley replied:

Fangoria chatted with Andy Clement who worked on the Special Effects for A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010. Clement has also worked on such films as Ernest Scared Stupid, Army of Darkness, and The Princess Bride.

Although the interview was published on October 16, 2009 it seems a bit old, and oddly enough there is really no Elm Street talk. However, I thought it might be of some interest to the horror fans who visit this site.

From TMZ:

A Nightmare on Elm Street's Thomas Dekker was arrested last night on suspicion of DUI after allegedly hitting a bicyclist.

"Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 21-year-old The Sarah Connor Chronicles actor was busted around 9pm Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley. He's currently being held on suspicion of felony DUI and causing bodily harm. His bail is set at $100,000."

Here is a list of all the Elm Street alumni I could find on Twitter. This is definitely a work in progress because I couldn't find many. I'll update it over time, but if you have any I am missing please leave them in the comments section below.

The year was 1994. There was no Major League Baseball (there was a strike that year), Friends premiered on NBC and took over, and A Nightmare on Elm Street turned ten years old! In addition, Wes Craven returned to the monster he created with Wes Craven's New Nightmare. And a company called Gottlieb created "Freddy's Nightmare on Elm Street" pinball machine.

Here is the rest of Chris Roberts' fan fiction to read while we try to survive the post-trailer calm. I also added a fan fiction section where people can submit their own Freddy stories to share.

Part 1: Awakening

I think most of us agree that the official Never Sleep Again teaser poster isn't very good. So our good friend Mr. Rabba whipped up another version for us, plus a couple more Elm Street posters and his own Nightmare trailer! Check them out below and let us know your thoughts!

Our good friend Chris Roberts is parting with his Elm Street collection and has put it up on Ebay for auction. Just from the pictures alone I can see several pieces of rare Freddy memorabilia including, The Freddy Game and some hard to find Freddy action figures. If you would like to make a bid (starting at a very low $20) click here. If you're still not convinced check out this list of stuff below.
