A region free, 5-disc Blu-ray set of the first seven Elm Street films is coming to the UK on October 3, 2011. The SRP is £37.49 ($61 US dollars). The Elm Street remake and Freddy vs. Jason are not included. Check out the special features below.

Heather Langenkamp’s A Nightmare on Elm Street documentary is finally available for purchase via her website iamnancy.net or through Amazon. Langenkamp will also be screening the film at future conventions she attends. Visit her official website for her upcoming schedule, and check out the trailer and cover art below!

There is a four page article titled "My Nightmare Career" about Heather Langenkamp and her documentary I Am Nancy in issue #1166 of Entertainment Weekly (August 5, 2011). It features "Men of the Hunger Games" on the cover and went on sale July 29.

Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller tweeted about A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, but unfortunately the news wasn't very promising.

Like I mentioned in August, the studio is concentrating on Teenage Mutant Turtles, and a film called Ouija. Fuller tweeted that a script for Friday the 13th 2 has already been written, but "as for Freddy, there isnt even talk of writing another script."

A few fashion tips for Nancy Thompson from:

Don Juans' Reckless Daughter

"Lets face it kids, Nancy is a bit of a hot-1984-mess. Understandably so, because for a better part of the film she is a self-induced coffee-drinking NoDoz-popping insomniac trying desperately to avoid the monstrous killer the awaits her in her dreams! (yikes!) Yet she somehow manages to land Johnny Depp which is clearly where the "hot" part of hot-mess comes into play. Regardless, I felt like giving Nancy a bit of a makeover while staying true to the original character and given how relevant 1980s fashion is these days it wasn't difficult to do! I hope you enjoy..."

Our favorite Elm Street stalker made an appearance on the TV show South Park (Season 14, Episode 10) the other night. Here is the clip "Hello Freddy" from the episode "Insheeption" -- Dr. Chinstrap seeks help from the most powerful dream infiltrator in the world, Freddy Krueger.
