Here are the two TV spots for A Nightmare on Elm Street in theaters on April 30, 2010. Check them out and let us know if and how they differ from the trailers!

Freddy Krueger returns in A Nightmare on Elm Street, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of surburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape.

In theaters April 30, 2010.

A Nightmare on Elm Street must be getting close because all kinds of goodies have been popping up online. Below are four new images from the German website Moviegod, and I have to say they look pretty great.

MySpace released a new poster for A Nightmare on Elm Street today. It looks a lot like the teaser we were given a few months back, but Freddy is a little clearer and we get less glove action. I'm still trying to understand why Krueger's other hand isn't burnt. As previously mentioned, a new trailer will debut in front of The Crazies. It will also debut on MySpace a day early.

Shock Till You Drop posted two long articles about the upcoming A Nightmare on Elm Street remake. The first is entitled The New Krueger on Elm Street: Jackie Earle Haley and the second Set Visit: A Nightmare Reborn on Elm Street, both written by Managing Editor Ryan Rotten. You can check out both by following the links.

A frequent daydreamer due to her mother's death and her father's alcoholism, Alice Johnson found a friend in Kristen Parker when she began dating her brother Rick. Kristen tried to warn them about Freddy, but they didn't listen. When Kristen died, Alice was there and was given her power to bring others into her dreams. Soon, Alice begins seeing her friends die in her dreams and begins taking on their personality traits. Alice realizes that the only way to stop Freddy is to use what has been given to her as a weapon to fight.

Fans can check out a new trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street that will be shown in front of The Crazies, in theaters on February 26. There is also word that some new TV spots will be airing on Tuesday (2-22-10) during the Winter Olympics. We will keep you updated.

ShockTillYouDrop nabbed some great pictures of NECA and Mezco's new toys based on A Nightmare on Elm Street from the 2010 Toy Fair. Some of these we have seen before and some we have not... Like the Jackie Earle Haley action figure holding a hand rake!

The creators of the Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy are looking for "uber fans" to be part of their documentary.

"We're looking for the biggest, most die-hard Freddy fans who have created shrines to Freddy ... inked their bodies in crazy Krueger ways ... or, better yet, turned their passion for this enduring horror franchise into amazing original works of art."
