Freddy Krueger is the bastard son of one hundred maniacs. His mother, Amanda Krueger (aka Sister Mary Helena) was accidentally locked inside a wing of Westin Hills for the criminally insane. She was raped repeatedly before she was found. Nine months later, she gave birth to Fredrick Charles Krueger. Raised by an abusive stepfather and constantly ridiculed by his peers, Krueger began using pain as a release. Eventually, he murdered his stepfather with a straight razor and began a new life in Springwood with his wife Loretta. They would have one daughter, Katherine. Straight life began to take its toll on Krueger and his urges got the best of him. He started killing children with a razor glove, being very careful not to be caught. Eventually, the "Springwood Slasher" was found, arrested, and brought to trail. He was freed on a technicality, allowing him to roam Elm Street again. The townsfolk of Springwood were not keen on the idea, and followed him to his boiler room, where his was murdered via molotov cocktails. Before his death, he was given an opportunity for revenge by Dream Demons. He took their offer and continues to haunt the dreams of the children of Elm Street to this very day. Played by Robert Englund.
