The makers of the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy have been very busy since my last post. So busy it is not worth me trying to keep up with the constant updates. For a complete list of everyone they have interviewed you can visit the official Twitter, MySpace, website or our page that has been updated up until November 3rd.
I will not be making anymore updates unless they interview someone big like Wes Craven.
Recent big interviews that have completed include Kane Hodder, Heather Langenkamp and Freddy himself Robert Englund.
"Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy officially began lensing on August 22, 2009, in and around Los Angeles. Starring and narrated by Heather Langenkamp, star of the 1984 classic A Nightmare on Elm Street and two of its sequels (1986's Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and 1994's Wes Craven's New Nightmare), this thrilling 90-minute retrospective promises to be the definitive look at the making of the iconic horror series and the enduring legacy of its wise-cracking, razor-gloved villain: the indefatigable "bastard son of a hundred maniacs" known as Freddy Krueger."
Rod Lane- You have nothing to worry about. Anchor Bay promised that this would be much more in depth than 'His Name Was Jason' and that film had hours and hours of awesome stuff. Something this article failed to mention, is that Mark Patton, Kelly Jo Minter, and Amanda Wyss have also completed their interviews. It's going to be awesome and in the wake of the 2010 remake, it is exactly what true fans of the series need.
I'm just upset that is sounds like it is going to be a lot shorter than originally promised.
This is one dvd I can't wait to see more than the new movie
