Robert Englund will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 New York City Horror Film Festival. There will be a special screening of the original Elm Street on Saturday, November 13th at 10pm.

Englund will also be part of the genre discussion panel with Maniac creator William Lustig on Nov. 14th.

Wes Craven will be joining Guillermo del Toro and some of the biggest names in film, television, theater, books, popular music, and technology for the TimesTalks events at TheTimesCenter, 242 West 41st Street in New York City.

Platinum Dunes will be giving a sneak peek of A Nightmare on Elm Street at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. The Elm Street panel will take place on July 24, between 10:15 and 12:30. No word on what footage they will be showing or who will be attending, but we will let you know as soon, and if, it is announced.
