A new viral site for A Nightmare on Elm Street has opened up called keepherawake.com. It's a game in which you have to keep the young girl awake so she isn't killed by Freddy. This can be done through various means; everything from coffee and energy drinks to cold showers and cutting herself. Enjoy playing and leave your thoughts below!

The year was 1994. There was no Major League Baseball (there was a strike that year), Friends premiered on NBC and took over, and A Nightmare on Elm Street turned ten years old! In addition, Wes Craven returned to the monster he created with Wes Craven's New Nightmare. And a company called Gottlieb created "Freddy's Nightmare on Elm Street" pinball machine.

Angry Nintendo Nerd is a popular video series where the Nintendo Nerd revisits some of the worst video games in history. In episode #13 he takes of Freddy Krueger and Nintendo's A Nightmare on Elm Street. There is a lot of foul language as the Nerd curses his way through this side-scrolling "diarrhea mess." Up to four players control characters who jump and punch their way through Elm Street locations as they collect the bones of Freddy Krueger to place them in a furnace and end his reign of terror. Each character can withstand only four hits from opponents before losing a life. With four players two of the characters appear as females.
