We finally have a look at Platinum Dune's new version of Freddy Krueger thanks to our friends at NECA. However, the look is based on a figure being released for the film, not an actual look at Jackie Earle Haley. Nothing much else to say except to remind you that the film is being released April 30, 2010. Post comments below and let us know what you think!

Freddy’s Return: A Nightmare Reborn is a feature length fan film written and directed by Jason Korsiak. The film has a running time of 120 minutes, and was produced on a budget of $3,000. It bridges the gap between NOES 5: The Dream Child and NOES 6: Freddy's Dead.

The makers of the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy have been very busy since my last post. So busy it is not worth me trying to keep up with the constant updates.

Kellan Lutz recently told About.com that A Nightmare on Elm Street will be "scary."

"It's really cool to be a part of something that now, since all our minds are so corrupted with blood, guts and gore, that this generation, it takes something special to scare our generation now. It's revamped. And where 10 years ago, someone just knocking on the door, you're like "Oh, w-who is that?" You know, what Nightmare on Elm Street is gonna show, it's scary. If you guys haven't seen the trailer, you know, how it's shot and the things that you will see from the movie will scare you. And it's a great psychological thriller."

According to Robert Englund's official website he will be holding a book signing for his autobiography, Hollywood Monster, today at Larry Edmunds Books (6644 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028 ph: 323-463-3273).
