Here is the video of Jackie Earle Haley talking at the Elm Street Comic Con panel that has been floating around YouTube. If it is eventually pulled you can read some of his choice quotes here.

A close-up photo of Jackie Earle Haley's makeup from A Nightmare on Elm Street has been proven a fake by the website IconsofFright. The picture that popped up yesterday, is just a photoshopped still of Haley from the film The Children. Check out the before and after below.

Below are some quotes published by Horror-Movies.ca from the Nightmare on Elm Street panel at the San Diego Comic Con.

Jackie Earle Haley on playing Freddy

"I thought it would be really interesting giving him a Scottish accent. Not sure why. Think it works though. No, I think it’s definitely a scary process trying to step into the shoes of Robert Englund who has owned this character for decades. He’s done a brilliant job with it. His embodiment, his performance is what makes Freddy who he is."

It has been announced by Warner Bros. that Nightmare on Elm Street has been pushed from an April 16 release date to an April 30 release date. No reason for the change was given.

Straight from the San Diego Comic Con comes the first picture of Freddy Krueger, and the official one sheet. Check them out below and let us know your thoughts.

Well to be technical, where is the love for Jackie Earle Haley? That's what Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes asked in a recent blog update. In an extension of the last article we posted, Fuller confirmed that shooting has wrapped on Nightmare on Elm Street 2010. Going a little further, he also called out all of the Englund fans who are upset of the new Freddy. That being said, he also noted that Haley's Freddy is a creation entirely of Haley's and that he (Fuller) is proud to be part of this film.

Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes has just announced via his Twitter page that Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 has officially wrapped! He also put up several more pics of on-set shenanigans, including one of the film's director Sam Bayer. Fuller said that he was "sad" and that NoES "....was a fun film to make".

With Comic-Con only two weeks away, we have to ask ourselves if we will see any footage. Hopefully we will bring you the news as soon as it is announced!

Real quick update! You can follow A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 producer Brad Fuller on Twitter here. He just recently published this picture of Kyle Gallner from the set, and announced filming will officially wrap Friday. I have not heard of or seen an official Elm Street Twitter yet, but we will let you know as soon as we find it or it is launched.
