Every hero needs an arch-nemesis and vice versa, and Nacy Thompson was Freddy's first and most famous. Not only was she the first "kid" to take on Kreuger, she also appeared in the most films. While not as strong as Alice Johnson, she was resourceful and the first to figure out how to use Freddy's nightmares against him -- knowledge she passed on to the Dream Warriors before finally being killed in part three. Played by Heather Langenkamp.
Girlfriend of Glen Lantz.

i think Nancy had more strength than Alice. the only reason Alice was made a stronger heroine than Nancy was b/c when kristen passed on her powers to Alice, part of it went into Freddy and then into her. ever since then, anybody that falls victim to freddy's blades, she absorbs their power. nancy had the power of courage. if alice didn't inherit those dream powers, her match with freddy would've failed. now the rhyme her mama taught her helped her beat freddy. which was good, but nancy, in my opinion was always be my number one quinessential heroine of the nightmare films.
