When Platinum Dunes put out it's remake of Friday the 13th, the television show that shared only its name was released on DVD. So why is there no plan to release Freddy's Nightmares? Yes, there is a Region 2 (Europe) release and yes, there are bootlegs you can purchase; but why no official release alongside the remake? If anything it should be easier now that Warner Bros owns New Line Cinema, seeing as how they released a select few episodes on VHS.
That said, below you will find a petition being sent to Warner begging them to release the series on DVD in America. It's introductory letter even references our big brother site Horroryearbook.com for feeding the beast that led to a petition!!!!

the series already comes on cable on the chiller network
Petition fail!
I would like them to come out with both seasons also, i dont think they should even have it come to dvd if they arent just going to do a full complete series.
Shout Factory has a deal with Warner Bros. and they have been working together. Shout has gotten some WB properties and is trying to get more. Freddy's Nightmares has a thread on their forum. Brian Ward from Shout said he is surprised that the company isn't looking into this already, but said he would have "Acquisitions" look into it.
One way or another, this has got to come out on DVD!.
I really hope that they put this show out on dvd after all we have Friday The 13th The Series ,, Poltergeist The Legency so why not Freddy .With the new movie coming out in 29 days this would be a smart money choice to put it out .I would buy it in a min just as long as it both seasons...Come on release it
