[Editor's Note: Due to a mistake on my part we have two bios for Jesse Walsh, one by our normal character bio writer, Chris Roberts, and one by our new writer Erick Uribe. So I just published them both.]
Bio #1 by Erick
Jesse Walsh (Mark Patton) the new guy in town, and our protagonist, finds it difficult to assimilate with the kids around in his new home. The focus of many a highschool prank, Jesse quickly learns his new house has been at the center of strange murders and teenage suicides. Like any teen during highschool he finds it difficult to find common ground with others and feels that his parents misunderstand him. Arguably the most effeminate male character in the series, as evidenced by his girlish screams and his hysterical bedroom unpacking dance scene, Jesse is socially inept and unable to initially seek help. As the story progresses he begins to further disconnect with family and loved ones in an effort to reclaim what little is left of his sanity as he is torn between two worlds.
Bio #2 by Chris
A quiet and reserved young man, Jesse Walsh is the new kid on Elm Street. He quickly makes a friend in Grady and even has a girlfriend, Lisa. His only real problem is his address: 1428 Elm Street. Freddy has chosen Jesse to help him in his "special work" and now, strange things are happening again in Springwood. All signs point to Jesse, though with help from Lisa, Krueger is defeated. Played by Mark Patton.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
*Although the film contains homoerotic undertones, and the director claims they are accidental, Mark Patton came out as gay shortly after the film's release.
