The first script review for the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake is in, and it comes via Latino Reviews. The draft they read is dated Jan 14, 2009 and is a 110 pages long. It was written by Wesley Strick with revisions by Eric Heisserer.
The biggest news is that Platinum Dunes stuck to Wes Craven's original concept of Freddy Krueger being a child molester. They also noted that the wisecracking Freddy is gone, he has very few lines in the film and more of his back story is told through “clever flashbacks and nightmare sequences.”
