MTV.com wrote a great side-by-side comparison of the old Elm Street and new Elm Street. Click here to read it.
Also below are a few MTV interviews with Rooney Mara and Kyle Gallner that seem a bit old, but it is the first time I have seen them. Click here to see Jackie Earle Haley's MTV interview.

SO glad theres more to the franchise, love it...
Will miss Robert more than can be said but...a new take could be cool.
still, REALLY REALLY dont like Freddy's new voice..not grainy and coarse enough, like Robert's...also, don't like the lines I heard..the character seems too strained..less natural evil like the old one...still, not sure if they have time to re-edit before the launch so I predict a short-lived horrah, followed by flop.
people will get it to add to their HUGGE already existing collection, but it strikes me as worse than new nightmare for its mood (Aty least besed on the Freddy Dialogue)
The scenes seem cool, updated etc..nicely done, but its ALL ABOUT FREDDY..and if he didn't stand up to the length of the trailer for me, will he stand up to the length of the movie to everyone else?
We shall see, I hope I am wrong.
Peace and sweet dreams!
