Robert Englund recently chatted with Shock Till You Drop. Here is what he had to say about the Elm Street remake.

When asked, Have you had a chance to meet Jackie Earle Haley and figuratively pass Freddy's bladed glove?

TV Guide Magazine has learned that Robert Englund will be playing a "creepy custodian" on an upcoming episode of the TV show Bones.

The slasher-themed episode is set to air this spring. "The story finds jaded Brennan (Emily Deschanel) planning to skip her high school reunion, until a murder sends her and Booth (David Boreanaz) to the scene to investigate."

According to Robert Englund's official website he will be holding a book signing for his autobiography, Hollywood Monster, today at Larry Edmunds Books (6644 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028 ph: 323-463-3273).

Please call all the listings beforehand to ensure dates and times have not changed!

Even if Robert Englund is a little peeved that he was not asked to reprise his role as Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes' remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, he is being a class act about it and not letting it be known. The actor recently talked to SeattlePi about his upcoming show, Fear Clinic with Kane Hodder, the V reboot and of course Elm Street.

Robert Englund's new autobiography titled Hollywood Monster: A Walk Down Elm Street with the Man of Your Dreams is set to hit book shelves on October 13, 2009. It was co-written by Alan Goldsher the author of Modest Mouse: A Pretty Good Read and Hard Bop Academy: The Sidemen of Art Blakey.

Englund recently told FEAR.net about the book:

Here is a pretty important interview that I missed, Robert Englund, talking about the Elm Street remake and the man who took his place, Jackie Earle Haley.
