We finally have a look at Platinum Dune's new version of Freddy Krueger thanks to our friends at NECA. However, the look is based on a figure being released for the film, not an actual look at Jackie Earle Haley. Mezco Toyz has already jumped on the remake bandwagon with a Jason Voorhees Living Dead Doll, and now they have added Freddy Krueger to their collection.

Mezco Toys is releasing a new "stylized" Freddy Krueger action figure that will be shipping November / December 2009. It retails for $30.

"Standing 9 inches tall he features 8 points of articulation. Freddy comes complete with a scale Elm Street sign, a removable cloth sweater and hat, and the infamous tongue phone."
